Configure the Official CloudShell ElastiCube

To integrate with the Insight ElastiCube:

  1. From the Windows Start menu, select All Programs > SiSense > SiSense ElastiCube Manager.
  2. Browse to the location where the BI solution pack was downloaded and click Open File in the Quick Start area to open the QS_ElastiCube.ecube file for editing.

    The elastic cube holds the Insight database structure, as depicted in the following figure.

  3. Connect the elastic cube to your Insight database by changing the connectivity settings. Select the Change Connectivity Settings option from the main menu.

  4. To change the default connectivity settings, select ElastiCube > Build Settings > Change Connectivity Settings Options.

  5. Click Change source database .

  6. Specify the database server location and authentication method.

  7. Click Connect to Server and select the appropriate CloudShell Insight database from the Select Database dropdown list. By default, the database name is "QualiInsight".

    Tip: If connection fails, perform MSDTC Security Configuration.

  8. Click OK.
